Northwest Alaska’s economy has a lot of room to grow. Bringing down the cost of living through comprehensive energy plans and expanding business and educational opportunities will deepen and develop the area’s economy.

NWALT has supported:

Regionally-developed energy programs to reduce residents’ cost of living – weatherization, alternative energy initiatives, efforts to decrease cost of utilities and fossil fuels

Broadband services to expand regional participation in global economy
